How to apply for NEET 2027 — step by step

Register on the NTA NEET portal
Create an account on the official site (neet.nta.nic.in) using a valid email ID and mobile number. You will receive a system-generated application number — note it down.

Fill the application form
Enter your personal, academic and contact details, choose your exam city preferences, paper medium and category. Double-check every field before submitting.

Upload documents
Upload your recent passport-size photo, signature, left-hand thumb impression and other images in the exact format and size specified in the bulletin.

Pay the application fee
Pay online via net banking, UPI, credit or debit card. The fee depends on your category (see the table below).

Download the confirmation page
After successful payment, download and print the confirmation page. Keep multiple copies for your records — you will need them later.
