What will be the no. Of mitotic division if there are 64 daughter cells
No. Of mitotic division-1 = no. Of cells formed So, to form 64 cells 63 division is required.

A total of 6 rounds of mitotic division will form 64 daughter cells.

1 mitosis can form 4 cells. So 16 mitotic division is the correct answer.

1 cell divides- 2 daughter cell-4 daughter cell - 8 daughter cell - 16 daughter cell - 32 daughter cell - 64 daughter cell as to get 64 daughter cell total 6 mitotic division took place therefore answer is option a
