Who proposed phylogenetic system of classification ? In NEETSHALA handwritten notes there are two scientist mentioned whereas on internet there is only one scinetist mentioned

Phylogenetic system of classification is based on evolutionary and genetic relationships of the plants which enable us to find out ancestral and derived characters of any taxon. The system of classification was put forward by Engler and Prantl. The ancestor and the related organisms were studied for classification of the organism.

This system of classification was given by Engler , prantle , Hutchinson , and takhtajan.
