Calculating Molar Mass

Asked by Ramesh Doctor · 2 years ago

How do you calculate the molar mass of glucose (C6H12O6)?

1 Answer

To calculate the molar mass of glucose, sum the atomic masses of all the atoms in the molecule. For glucose: (6 × 12.01) + (12 × 1.01) + (6 × 16.00) = 72.06 + 12.12 + 96.00 = 180.18 g/mol.
