If the density of methanol is 0.793 kg/L, what is it's volume needed for making 2.5 L of its 0.25 M solution ?
First takeout total no of moles from molarity equation, it will come out to be 5/8 moles , now find total weight using no of moles and molecular wt of methanol i.e 325/8=20 gram, now convert it into kg 20/1000 And we know volume(v)=m/d=20/10000.793=0.025 moles

Final result is in litre as it is volume not in moles, so correct it.
