Concept of Alternating Current

Asked by Ayesha M · 2 years ago

What is alternating current (AC) and how is it different from direct current (DC)?

1 Answer

Alternating current (AC) is an electric current that reverses its direction periodically. Unlike direct current (DC) which flows only in one direction, AC changes direction at regular intervals. This periodic change is due to the voltage that also alternates over time.
