Can you explain the difference between parallel venation and reticulate venation?

1 Answer

Parallel venation and reticulate venation are two types of leaf venation patterns. In parallel venation, the veins run parallel to each other from the base to the tip of the leaf, which is commonly found in monocots like grasses and lilies. In contrast, reticulate venation features a net-like pattern of veins, and it is commonly found in dicots such as mango, rose, and hibiscus.
