Function and secretion site of bile juice

Asked by Krazy Deepak · 2 years ago

I am confused about the function of bile juice and where exactly it is secreted from. Can someone clarify?

Bile juice is secreted by the liver. It plays a critical role in the digestion and absorption of fats. Bile contains bile salts, which help to emulsify fats, breaking them down into smaller droplets that can be more easily digested by enzymes. The bile is stored in the gallbladder and released into the small intestine when needed.
