How is Ohm's law applied in electrical circuits and what are its limitations?
Ohm's law is applied in electrical circuits to calculate current, voltage, or resistance when the other two quantities are known. It's used in designing and analyzing simple circuits, determining power consumption, and sizing electrical components. However, Ohm's law has limitations: it doesn't apply to non-ohmic devices like diodes or to superconductors. It also fails in extreme conditions like very high voltages or temperatures where the conductor's properties change significantly.
