Chemical Equilibrium is a state in a chemical reaction where the concentrations of reactants and products remain constant over time. This happens because the rate of the forward reaction (reactants turning into products) equals the rate of the reverse reaction (products turning back into reactants).
Establishment of Equilibrium: In a closed system where no reactants or products can escape, a reaction will eventually reach a point where the forward and reverse reactions occur at the same rate. At this point, the system is said to be in equilibrium.
