Calculate vapor density of a mixture with 66%co2 and 34%H2 by mass

and m avg= total moles total mass ​

mass of CO 2 ​ =66%=66 gm

∴ mass of H 2 ​ =100−66=34 gm

moles of CO 2 ​

44 66 ​ =1.5 moles

moles of H 2 ​

2 34 ​ =17 moles

∴ Total moles =1.5+17+18.5 moles

m avg= 18.5 100 ​ =5.40

∴ vapour density = 2 5.40 ​ =2.70
