Law of dominance
in a heterozygote, one trait will conceal the presence of another trait for the same characteristic. Rather than both alleles contributing to a phenotype, the dominant allele will be expressed exclusively.

In a cross in which only one allele is expressed even in the presence of other allele then this is called dominance. When in heterozygous condition only only one allele is expressed then it is called aw of dominance.
