I have read about the Bartholin's glands in the context of female external genitalia. Can you explain their function in a simple way?
The Bartholin's glands are a pair of small glands located on either side of the vaginal opening. Their primary function is to secrete a lubricating fluid. This fluid helps to keep the vulva moist and makes sexual intercourse more comfortable by reducing friction.
