The SI unit of electric flux is the volt-meter (V·m). It is derived from the formula for electric flux, which is:
Φ = E · A
Here, Φ is the electric flux, E is the electric field (measured in volts per meter, V/m), and A is the area through which the field lines pass (measured in square meters, m2). Therefore, the unit of electric flux becomes:
V/m × m2 = V·m
