Which plants have Pneumatophores and why are they important?

I have read about pneumatophores in my biology textbook, but I am curious to know which plants have these specialized roots and why they are crucial for the survival of such plants.

Pneumatophores are most commonly found in mangrove trees, such as Avicennia and Rhizophora, which thrive in coastal and estuarine environments. These environments are characterized by waterlogged and anaerobic (oxygen-poor) soils. Pneumatophores play a crucial role in the survival of these plants by allowing them to obtain oxygen directly from the atmosphere. This adaptation is essential because the waterlogged soil in which mangroves grow contains very little oxygen, which would otherwise hinder the plant's respiration and overall growth.
